Opt out
If you represent a vendor listed on Interrupt Index and you do not want us to probe or list your service, you can ask us to stop.
What we do
Interrupt Index runs automated, read-only probes against public web surfaces to measure how agent-friendly a service is. Our probes never sign up, never make purchases, and never solve CAPTCHAs. They look at things like your public homepage, robots.txt, OpenAPI/MCP endpoints, and terms-of-service text. Every probe identifies itself with the user-agent:

Send an email to [email protected] from a domain that proves you represent the vendor (for example, an address on the same registrable domain as the listing). Include:
- The registrable domain you want removed (e.g.
example.com). - A brief statement that you are authorized to make the request.
- Any public reference that helps us confirm ownership (optional).
We add the domain to our committed suppression list, stop all future probes, and delist the page. Because the list is stored in git, removals require a reviewed commit and cannot be done silently.
What happens after opt-out
- No more probes. Your domain is excluded from our monthly reprobe cron and from any future bulk imports.
- Existing listing is delisted. The tool page becomes a tombstone stating that the vendor opted out, with no score or findings shown.
- Reversal requires a new request. If you later want to be listed again, email us and we will remove the suppression entry in another reviewed commit.
Scope of the opt-out
A single opted-out registrable domain covers the domain and all of its subdomains. If you operate multiple distinct services on separate registrable domains, tell us which ones to suppress.
